These recent days, I've been told:
"You've got to make others work for you."
"You've got to make sure they don't take advantage of you."
"Sometimes you've got to scold whatever $*#@#*@* language when you speak with them also."
I guess its a huge learning curve, and granted, there's so much I've got to learn when dealing with the marketplace also.
But these values in the working society are so different from the values we learn in church and all. Is there a better way to do things? Yes, I think so.
There's such a thing called servant leadership. And rather than making people work out of fear, it'll help others to want to work with you, and it'll make you want to work together with them also.
I won't have much more time left in my internship company, but if there's something I'll like to leave with them, it's this. Lets hope I can. =)
