Forgiveness

This phrase is so true.. :) In life, sometimes we meet people who're genuinely nice.. but sometimes we meet people who hurt us too, whether intentionally or not. There are times when I hold on to those hurts, trying to convince myself that it isn't true, trying to tell myself that I'm better than that, that in Christ, I'm a new creation.
So often, it weighs me down. These hurts feel like a really huge stone that seems to hold me back from being who I am, from having the freedom and peace that I know we're supposed to have.
But today, forgiveness came across my mind. :) When I made that decision to forgive the people behind those hurts, to lift it all up to my Abba so He could help me forget.. a peace just came, just like that. :)
Forgiveness in Christ, its a really powerful thing to have. :)
