The Grace of God.. what an amazing gift! :)

It says in the Bible, that God made us in His image and in His likeness.. this means that within our soul and our beings, we have the same character and make-up as Him. :) We long to love, we have the ability to create.. we have that desire to do something great with our lives. But the thing is.. along the way, we fell.

The image and likeness that we have is no longer a full image and likeness. Even though we still have the same desires.. the ability to produce results consistently always fails us. Even after we've been saved, the image and likeness that we have is still not fully God's image, because of our fallen nature.

But that's why there's Grace. :)

What Jesus did on the cross, it wasn't just a physical price of judgement that God paid for us. It was an action of grace. And now, because of this grace that has been given to us.. it gives us the possibility to do so much more with our lives. Grace makes up for the deficiencies that our image and likeness has to the one that God has created for us.

Its really important to know, that now, because of His grace, all things are possible. If we have a desire to be a blessing.. its possible. If we desire to achieve something really great, its possible. We don't have to feel that its beyond our strength and abilities, that we're only human, not God.. and we have to live and be content with limitations.

As long as what we desire and set out to do glorifies God, whatever we want to do, we can. :)
