i used to think that being confident about ourselves meant that we had to feel like our abilities were up there with the best in every area of our lives.. feel like we're perfect and nothing could bring us down.. :/

but along the way.. i realized that its not really about being perfect or being the best.. :) being confident means being happy and contented with who we are.. and we can be happy with ourselves without being the best.. we can be thankful for our good points without having to compare with others too.. :) with that, I guess I learnt to take criticism better, and i learnt to accept imperfection.. because after all, I'm not the best.. I don't have to be.. :) 

I guess, learning to be humble, having humility taught me all that.. :)
